Seek financial assistance

Special Correspondent

Coimbatore: Persons released from the prison following the judgment in the Coimbatore serial blasts case have appealed to the district administration for financial assistance for self-employment.

The appeal was made by more than 80 persons who were released after their sentence was set off against the remand period.

They assembled at the District Collector’s office on Grievances Day on Monday and said that they had already appealed for assistance. This time they sought immediate measures to provide them with support for their economic rehabilitation.
