CHENNAI: The City Police Commissioner, G. Nanchil Kumaran, on Saturday inaugurated a free eye screening camp and a job opportunity fair for residents of Ice House police quarters.
The residents were screened for problems in their eyes. Those selected for operations were sent to Sri Sankara Eye hospital in Pammal.
Food, accommodation and transport had been freely arranged for those undergoing the surgery at the hospital. The eye camp was conducted by the specialists from Sri Sankara Eye hospital, Pammal.
The job opportunities fair was organised by Padma Vertical Solutions.
