Mysore boy rescued

Madikeri: A 10-year-old boy, Mohammad Mutalib, who was kidnapped by three persons near Bannimantap in Mysore on Saturday evening, was rescued by the Kodagu police with the help of a few youth, near Chettalli in Somwarpet taluk of Kodagu district on Sunday afternoon.

The three abductors were nabbed near Chettalli, Superintendent of Police T.R. Suresh said here. Their names were given as Rakesh, Prajwal Nagaraj and Mohan Babu of Bangalore. It was Prajwal Nagaraj, who hailed from Mysore, had known the boy.

The boy is the son of Khwaja Moinuddin, a businessman on Devaraj Urs Road.
