Make best use of opportunities: Balram Jakhar tells students

Tips to success - Aspiration, Inspiration and Perspiration

ERODE: Students should make best use of opportunities that life provides, Balram Jakhar, Governor, Madhya Pradesh, has said.

Participating in the tenth convocation at the Kongu Arts and Science Collegeon Saturday here, he advised the students that they must not lose hope in life nor feel isolated. Instead, they must hold their heads high and face the world.


The Governor then gave them three tips to success: Aspiration, Inspiration and Perspiration.

"The three when combines in a person will bring him success." He then told the students they must make their family, neighbourhood and nation proud by their work.

"Get yourselves involved in works that will bring prosperity all around and nation in particular."


Earlier, C. Swaminathan, principal of the college, welcomed the gathering and presented the annual report. He said the institution started by 41 philanthropists had done well by bagging five gold medals and 20 other ranks.

P. Mohana won the gold medal in B. Sc Corporate Secretaryship (Computer Science), V. Indra bagged the gold medal in B. Sc Biochemistry, P. Konguselvi in B. Sc Costume and Fashion Design, P. Supraja in B. Sc Costume and Fashion Design (Vocational), and R. Sathya in M. A. English (Computer Science).

As many as 541 students received their degree certificates.
