CHENNAI: CISF security personnel at the Anna international airport seized a live bullet from a Sharjah-bound woman passenger early on Saturday.
According to police, Noorbi Khaleel (57) of Vandavasi was carrying the 5.56 mm bore bullet in her hand baggage.
Police investigation revealed that the bullet was given to her by a friend from Indonesia. She was told that wearing the bullet, coiled with thread, would give her relief from body pain, Khaleel told the police. — Special Correspondent
