MADURAI: A library section named after late M. Sankarapandian, a lawyer-politician, was inaugurated at the Madurai Bench High Court Advocates Association (MBHAA) here on Thursday.

R. Balasubramanian, Judge, Madras High Court, inaugurated the library section and paid rich encomiums on the departed lawyer.

He said that the legal profession required continuous learning.

“I have learnt more as a Judge than as a lawyer because judges hear the arguments from two sides to arrive at a conclusion,” he said.

Judges S. R. Singharavelu, S. Ashok Kumar, K. Nazeerulla Basha, P. Murgesen, K. Chandru, V. Ramasubramanian, P.R. Shivakumar, T. Sudanthiram and S. Nagamuthu participated. The MBHAA president M. Ajmal Khan and secretary B. Pugalendhi spoke.
