Tuticorin: The district administration has completed the distribution of relief packages to 46 families, who lost their dwellings to a fire at Kayalpattinam on Friday evening.
The Collector, R. Palaniyandi, handed over five kg of rice, one litre of kerosene, one dhoti, a sari and Rs. 2,000 in cash to each of the affected families. The Superintendent of Police, Deepak Damor, was present.
