3,000 students participate in job fair

KARUR: The grand job fair organised recently by the V.S.B. Engineering College at its Karudayampalayam campus near here provided a healthy meeting ground for several top notch companies to look for graduate trainees from the over 3,000 students from various engineering and polytechnic colleges in the region.

20 companies

Over 20 firms from the engineering and information technology sectors such as Wheels India, HCL Infotech, Sanmar Engineering, Alzec Technologies, Kelvin, Aircel, Airtel, Hutch, Reliance, HDFC, Mahindra Tractors and Surf Info took part in the job fair, the second such essay being presented by the V.S.B. Engineering College.

Correspondent V.S. Balusamy, HR Manager of Wheels India N. Rajagopal, and HR Manager of Sanmar Engineering Groups Nalini Rajesh lit the traditional lamp to mark the launch of the job fair. Principal T. John Oral Baskar welcomed the gathering.

The college had arranged for free transport facilities from Karur and K. Paramathi bus stands for the benefit of students attending the job fair.
