Candidates can submit their applications at GCT
Last date for receipt of applications
is April 20
COIMBATORE: Applications for appearing in the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) of the Anna University will be issued at the Government College of Technology (GCT) from April 1 to 20.
According to a release, candidates interested in studying in any of the Anna Universities, Government colleges, and Government-aided colleges, can apply for writing the test. It is applicable for those wanting to pursue MBA, MCA, ME, M. Tech., M. Arch., and M. Plan., courses.
On-line process
Filled in applications should be addressed to “The Secretary, TANCET Entrance Examination Centre, Anna University, Chennai – 600 025” and submitted along with the Demand Draft for the specified fee drawn in favour of “The Director, Entrance Examination, Anna University, Chennai”.
Candidates can submit their applications at GCT. Then it will be processed on-line and a hall-ticket will be issued immediately.
Candidates can also download the applications from the website www.annauni.edu/tancet2010. The cost of the application will depend on the caste the candidates belong to.

Those applying via Internet or through post should send in the application to the above mentioned address in Chennai.
