If these are the questions bogging you down, just attend the ‘The Hindu Education Plus Fair -2008’ at Lakshmi Sundaram Hall on May 10.

The fair, which is your window to careers and courses, is back again to provide a timely guidance, besides disseminating information about various opportunities available for students.

The one-day fair, which will feature presentations by eminent educationists, industrialists and doctors, will have sessions on pre-counselling and guidance for engineering courses, how to manage counselling sessions (for both parents and students), opportunities in various engineering and humanities streams, personality development, what do the employers expect and so on.

The result of hi-tech life style and competitive environment is stress. In fact, it is one the predominant factors that has to be addressed especially for students. To solve these problems at home, the fair has an exclusive session on parenting and stress management.

Students who have appeared for Plus Two examinations, those in Plus Two, undergraduates, students wishing to go for higher studies and parents who are concerned about their children’s future right from IX Standard can attend the fair.

Nineteenth Hour Information Technology has announced a lucky draw for all registrations for the following courses – advanced diploma in Java, J2EE, PHP, .NET, AutoCad, diploma in Maya Animation, Software Testing, Web Designing and Networking, International Call Center training and BPO Management, Medical Transcription, Spoken English and Personality Development, Spoken Hindi and Tally 9.0 Training. The entry is free. It will be held at Lakshmi Sundaram Hall between 9.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. A free handbook for aspiring students will also be distributed at the fair.
