CHENNAI: Several refrigerators, washing machines and air-conditioners were destroyed in a fire that broke out in a godown at T.Nagar early on Saturday.
According to Fire and Rescue Services personnel, the fire was noticed in the godown, located on New Boag Road, around 4.50 a.m.
Six fire tenders along with five Metrowater tankers brought the flames under control in about an hour. The cause is under investigation.
