The organisers claim that this was the first time that DVDs for Physics, Chemistry and Biology have been launched in the market for these classes. The CDs are interactive and include diagrams/illustrations and animation with a clear voice over, they said.

The products are on a range of topics and subjects including language tutors, software tutors, encyclopaedias, yoga, learning systems, competitive exams, personality development, self-improvement, management, medical, health, architecture, interior designing, web designing, music, general knowledge and games.

The kids’ section includes CDs/DVDs on rhymes, traditional stories such as Panchatantra and Tenali Rama, epics/mythology, fairy tales, Thirukkural, Athichudi, Bharathiar songs and national leaders. Discounts of up to 50 per cent are offered on certain titles.

The exhibition is under way at Tiruchi, Thanjavur and Kumbakonam simultaneously.

The exhibition at the Makkal Mandram at Thillai Nagar in Tiruchi will be open between 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. till February 16.
