Collector interacts with students

Tuticorin: Students should cultivate the habit of reading English newspapers to equip themselves for achieving success, according to Collector G. Prakash.

Students of Kanchi Sankara Academy Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Tiruchendur West, approached the Collector and interacted with him to get the skills, which are necessary to get through Civil Service examination.

It was a memorable day for Mr. Prakash as the day (Wednesday, February 24) marks the completion of one year in his tenure as Collector of Tuticorin.

Offering guidelines, he stressed the need for adopting suitable principles to make a positive difference in the day-to-day life.

One of the students asked about the role and significance of being a Collector. Mr. Prakash said that “living a life of commitment and passion for the welfare of society should be the role of every Collector. Hard work is expected throughout his or her career.”

Twenty one students from standards VII, VIII, IX, X and XI accompanied by the Principal, R. Vaishnavi Rajan, extended congratulations.
