CDs on literature, education, linguistics and games on sale
Tuticorin: An exhibition of educational VCDs and compact discs organised by Dove Multimedia Private Limited, Chennai, commenced at Hotel Sugam here on Saturday.
The show displays CDs and VCDs on a wide range of topics from literature, education and linguistics, to games.

Those who wish to improve their communication skills can get CDs on titles ‘Learn to speak – English / French / German / Spanish,’ which comes in a package of 16 CDs; ‘Speak fluent English’, ‘English talking dictionary’, ‘Learn Hindi / Tamil / Malayalam’; ‘English Dictionary’; and ‘Café English’ — all priced between Rs. 99 and Rs. 999.
A wide array of CDs / VCDs on Britannica collections arranged under school, biography, profile, knowledge and children series are on display. Each disc is priced at Rs. 199.
Another attraction are the CD-ROMs on nature. The one such disc on Oceans (Rs. 140) profiles a slide show that introduces the user to oceans, coral reefs, wave patterns and marine resources, with music and sound effects.
On health
Health CDs on titles — stress management, yoga for heart patients, lose your weight on your own, and zero oil cooking, are sold at Rs. 125 a piece. For games buffs, VCDs on racing events, adventure and sports are available.
The exhibition comes to a close on August 24. It will be open on all days from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
