To be conducted at 11 places

SALEM: The district administration would conduct special camps in 11 places in Salem district to photograph the differently-abled persons for issuing identity cards under the Kalaignar Insurance Scheme for Life-saving Treatments.

On October 14, a camp will be held at Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Ilampillai.

On October 15, another camp would be held at Primary Health Centre in Panamarathupatti.

The physically-challenged persons aged above 10 years are eligible for benefits under the scheme.

According to the press release, the persons would be considered as members of the welfare board for the differently-abled persons and eligible for benefits under the scheme.

The persons who were yet to join as member of the welfare board could register their names during the camps, the release added.
