The Accident and Death Care Cell trust commemorated its 15th year of service at Asan Memorial School on Wednesday.

Members of the trust also read out the various accident awareness messages and services provided for the victims.

“We have released three handbooks related to accident awareness to educate people,” said P.T. Ali, managing trustee.

“The State also agreed to partner with us and provided us space at the Government General Hospital to support our service activities,” he said.

Mr. Ali pointed out that in the year 2014, the trust started a dialysis unit and ‘quick service programme’ at the hospital to provide immediate care and treatment to unidentified accident victims.

Santhosh Babu, chairman and managing director, Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Development Corporation, spoke on public participation in social service and urged everyone to follow the rules to avoid accidents.
