Registrar highlights audit importance

The financial discipline of cooperative societies in Rajasthan is being strengthened through regular audits, in which the findings of inspection reports of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development and Reserve Bank of India will also be included.

State Registrar (Cooperative Societies) Rajan Vishal said here on Wednesday that the audit exercise would help ensure financial discipline and transparency in the functioning of cooperative bodies. The cooperative banks should also take prompt action for settlement of audit objections, he said.
