Jammu: Over 2.03 lakh pilgrims have so far paid obeisance at the Amarnath shrine in south Kashmir.
About 1,508 yatris prayed at the cave shrine on Friday raising their number to 2,03,872 since the commencement of the pilgrimage, spokesman of the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, Madan Mantoo said.
About 50,000 pilgrims, mostly Non-Resident Indians, had visited the cave shrine before the official commencement of the yatra on July one.
Mantoo said 39 people have expired so far during the yatra period.
