BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday ordered an inquiry into the alleged irregularities in the issuance of a marksheet to School and Mass Education Minister Bishnu Charan Das’ son Bijay Shankar Das.
The probe will be conducted by Chief Secretary Ajit Kumar Tripathy. The inquiry was ordered following media reports that the Minister’s son had been shown undue favour and was given high marks in this year’s High School Certificate Examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Orissa.
Meanwhile, the Minister denied the charges and said he was ready to face the probe.
