Kalinganagar boys for Himalayan trekking

BHUBANESWAR: Seven boys in the age group of 18 to 26 from Kalinganagar area will participate in the Himalayan trekking. The boys, who have been selected to take part in an Outdoor Leadership Programme conducted by Tata Steel Adventure Foundation, are from among the rehabilitated families of company’s proposed integrated steel plant in Jajpur District. The programme will be conducted in Himalayan Range, at the Garhwal region, under the guidance of Bachendri Pal, first Indian woman to scale Mount Everest and now the Head of Tata Steel Adventure Foundation, said the company in a statement here.
