Objections or suggestions should be given before December 1

PUDUCHERRY: The District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) has prepared a draft list of beneficiaries belonging to the below the poverty line (BPL) category for the Indira Awaas Yojana scheme.

Any objections, suggestions regarding addition, deletion or change in name in the list should be given before December 1 at the gram panchayats office and Block Development Office.

The beneficiary, owning land with a minimum area of 20 sq.m, would be selected in sequence from the BPL list.

Based on the BPL Census 2002, a draft list containing a minimum of 100 names in each category of SC and general had been prepared.

The list was available at village panchayats office, Block Development Office, Project Director of DRDA, and also on pon.nic.in.

The final list would be prepared after enquiry and taking into account all objections, the release said.
