RAINFALL: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Uttarakhand, at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: HARYANA: (2 cm and above) Farukhnagar 6, Ayanagar and Sohna 3 each and Gurgaon, Rohtak, Kalka and New Delhi (Safdarjung, Palam and Lodi road) 2 each, HIMACHAL PRADESH: (2 cm and above) Bharwin 11, Jogindernagar 5, Dharamshala 4, Baijnath, Banjar and Bangana 3 each and Una 2, JAMMU AND KASHMIR: Samba and Srinagar 4 each and Konibal 2, PUNJAB: (2 cm and above) Nangal 6, Ludhiana 5, Ropar 3 and Shahpurkandi, Nawashahar and Anandpur sahib 2 each, EAST RAJASTHAN: (2 cm and above) Maunt Abu 5, Jaipur, Bhim and Kotda 4 each, Sanganer 3 and Lalsot and Jhadol 2 each, WEST RAJASTHAN: (2 cm and above) Churu 5, Bikaner Tehil, Raniwada and Sriganganar 3 each and Kajuwala 2, EAST UTTAR PRADESH: (3 cm and above) Sardanagar 11, Kheri Lakhimpur 9, Muhammdi 8, Mankapur, Dhaurahara and Nighasan 6 each, Palliakalan and Biswan 4 each and Fatehpur, Mirzapur and Khalilabad 3 each, WEST UTTAR PRADESH: (3 cm and above) Basauli, Najibabad and Pawayan 4 each and Aligarh, Meerut and Bilaspur 3 each and UTTARAKHAND: (3 cm and above) Chamoli 11, Uttarkashi 7 and Dehradun and Bhatwari 3 each.

HEAVY RAINFALL WARNING: Heavy to very rain may occur in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and isolated heavy rain could occur in north Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh during the next 48 hours. Thunder squall could occur at isolated places in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir.
