Singer honoured

NEW DELHI: Renowned singer and music composer Pankaj Jeswani has been honoured by the Sindhi Academy of the Delhi Government for his outstanding contributions in the field of Music (Art and Culture).

The award -- comprising Rs. 25000 in cash, a trophy and a shawl -- was presented by Sindhi Academy vice-chairman Suresh Keswani at Kamani auditorium here earlier this week. Other recipients of the awards this year are Dr. Moti Prakash and Mohan Das Bhojwani (Social Work); Narad Muni Asudani (Education); and Ram Panjwani (Language).
