Racket in fake certificates busted

NEW DELHI, AUG. 21 . Two persons have been arrested by the South Delhi police for allegedly printing and selling fake education certificates. The police have recovered several fake documents from the accused.

According to the police, Sub-Inspector Girijesh Singh, incharge of H-Block Sangam Vihar police post, and his team rounded up one Mahender Singh, a resident of Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh, in Sangam Vihar on August 15.

At the time, he was handing over a forged high school certificate, purportedly issued from the Allahabad Education Board, for a price of Rs. 4,000 to one Sonu.

Three completed certificates and 15 blank ones, apart from two forged seals of secretary (Allahabad Education Board) were also recovered from his possession at the spot.
