NEW DELHI: To ensure that it is not left behind from its competitors in the booming mobile telephony market, the State-owned Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) on Monday launched three new pre-paid cards for its Trump (pre-paid) subscribers promising good value for money.

Making the announcement here, MTNL (Delhi) Executive Director A.K. Arora said the three new pre-paid cards would be for three, two and one-year validity with limited talktime.

For instance, the three-year validity card worth Rs.2,400 would carry Rs.500 talktime.

Similarly, card worth Rs.1,600 would be valid for two years and Rs.200 talktime, and Rs.900 card carrying Rs.100 talktime would be valid for one year.

However, talktime could be enhanced by purchasing Rs.100 pre-paid card having full value, the MTNL Executive Director added.

"This is one of the most economical scheme in the mobile market today that ensures good value for money. These new cards give ideal choice to those who receive more incoming calls and make lesser outgoing calls," claimed Mr. Arora.
