Delhi University announced its last cut-off list according to its admission schedule on Wednesday.
Most colleges have closed admissions to majority of their courses. No significant dips in the cut-offs have been announced by colleges that still have vacant seats. While arts courses seem to have filled up, many colleges are still offering B.Com and B.Com (Honours).
The university did not see many new admissions under the fourth list and buzz at colleges was mostly due to students withdrawing admission from one college and taking admission elsewhere.
Vacant seats
DU had said that further cut-offs/ spot counselling schedule will be declared depending on vacant seats after admissions under the fifth list are complete. Students can take admission under the fifth list till Saturday.
For document verification and approval of admission, timings for morning colleges are 9.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m., and between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. for evening colleges. After approval of admission, applicants will have to log on to the undergraduate admission portal to make the online admission fee payment. This may be done till 12 p.m. of the last day of the cut-off in which the applicant is taking admission.
Admissions under ECA and sports quota are already under way. Last year, due to several reserved seats lying vacant at the end of the admission process, DU started releasing more lists and even conducted a special drive to attract students from reserved categories.
