Three alleged cheats arrested

NEW DELHI: Three persons have been arrested by the Crime Branch of the Delhi police for allegedly cheating a private bank of over Rs.30 lakh using credit cards.

Mohammad Naushad, who runs a paan shop in Inderlok, purportedly overheard some sales executives of a bank talking about how credit cards could be procured against fake documents and hatched a conspiracy with his friends Mohammad Nadeem and Junaid to cheat banks.

The trio opened accounts in Axis Bank against fake documents and procured credit cards. They also got a swipe machine issued and cheated the bank, said the police.
