NEW DELHI: Three Bangladesh nationals have been arrested for alleged involvement in several cases of robbery and burglary in different parts of the Capital.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team laid a trap in a jhuggi-jhonpri colony in Bawana and arrested Mohammad Mustafa, Mohammad Tara and Mohammad Yasin. During interrogation, they purportedly confessed to their involvement in a robbery at Kucha Rehman in Chandi Chowk at knife-point on February 12.

The police claim to have solved nine cases of robbery and burglary in North and North-West Delhi with the arrest. A diamond-studded wristwatch, gold jewellery, silver glasses and a dagger have allegedly been seized.
