NEW DELHI: The Telugu Desam Party on Saturday asked the Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy Government in Andhra Pradesh to set up all-party committees from mandal-level upwards to study the irregularities in the allotment of houses under the Indiramma scheme for the homeless.
Stating this, the TDP Parliamentary Party leader K. Yerrannaidu said, such committees would help the Government in plugging the loopholes in implementing the scheme.
Mr. Yerrannaidu, who heads the TDP in Parliament said, during the monsoon session their members would raise the issue of “misuse of power” by the YSR Government and also the charges of corrupt practices against the regime.
