Swine flu claims four more lives

New Delhi: Four more persons died of swine flu on Saturday, raising the death toll to 332 in the country, even as 197 fresh cases were reported.

Of the four deaths, three were reported from Maharashtra, including two from worst-hit Pune, and one occurred in Gujarat.

In Pune, Kasarbai Londhe (48) and Vikas Pramanik (27) were the latest victims, said Joint Director of the Health Department Ashok Mehta.

Maharashtra reported the maximum number of 61 cases followed by Delhi 56, Karnataka 24, and Kerala 22. In one case, the victim contracted the infection abroad. — PTI
