Mona Suri murder: narco test on suspects

NEW DELHI: The Delhi police on Tuesday told a court here that four suspects in the unsolved fashion designer Mona Suri murder case have been taken to Gujarat for narco-analysis tests.

The police filed a fresh status report before Metropolitan Magistrate Munish Markan relating to Ms. Suri’s murder two years ago.

The tests would be conducted on Naveen Suri, husband of the victim, his alleged girlfriend Rachna and Rajiv Sharma. A police team, along with the suspects, went to Gandhinagar on May 18, the report said.

The court had on March 30 asked the Director-General of the Forensic Science Laboratory of Gujarat to consider the Delhi police plea for early narco-analysis tests. The action had come on a plea by the victim’s father seeking a speedy investigation.
