NEW DELHI: Bahujan Samaj Party chief and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati is expected to address three rallies here in the run-up to the Delhi Assembly polls. According to party sources, she will address her first rally at Trilokpuri this coming Sunday.

The subsequent rallies will be held at Aligaon on November 24 and Sultanpuri on November 26.

“The 69 Delhi Assembly seats that the BSP is contesting have been divided into groups of three. Each rally will include the contestants, party workers and supporters of 23 seats. The rallies will have Behenji address the crowds and highlight the policies of the BSP. She will talk of the agenda that the party will follow once elected,” say local BSP sources.

“We are confident of winning multiple seats. People are tired of the complacency that has crept into Congress and the BJP’s performance has been dismal. The BSP is the alternative that the people of Delhi have been seeking.”
