NEW DELHI: In view of the latest delimitation of constituencies, the All-India Congress Committee secretary Jai Kishan organised a meeting of party workers from the newly-added Mangolpuri blocks here on Sunday.

Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president J.P. Agarwal was the chief guest.

Welcoming the new members to the Congress fold, Mr. Agarwal said their active participation and cooperation would be vital in strengthening the party.

He also appealed to the party workers to maintain peace and put in sincere work to enable the Congress to perform well in the upcoming polls.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Jai Kishan called the recent price hike a “conspiracy” of the the Bharatiya Janata Party and its alliances to blemish the record of the United Progressive Alliance Government.
