Cook held for double murder

NEW DELHI: A cook has been arrested in connection with a double murder in Nangloi here last year. The PCR received a call last October 28 saying that two persons were lying unconscious in a tea shop on Firni Road in Mundka. When the police reached the spot, the two, identified as Bhola and Yadav, were found dead with head injuries. The shop owner, Sher Bahadur, told the police that Bhola was his employee and Yadav, a driver, was his cousin. He also told the police that the two along with cook Ramu Kesi stayed in the shop at night.Ramu Kesi, a native of Nepal, was absconding after the double murder came to light The police announced a cash reward of Rs.50,000 on his head and carried out raids at possible hideouts in Delhi and neighbouring areas. Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested Ramu at Peeragarhi Chowk on January 24.
