Burglary at temple

New Delhi: Unidentified men broke into an East Delhi temple and decamped with cash and jewellery worth about Rs 2.5 lakh, police said on Tuesday. The incident took place in Laxmi Narayan temple in Vivek Vihar last night. The theft came to light when the temple priest Rasik Bihari on Tuesday found the locks of temple doors broken and cash and ornaments worth Rs 2.5 lakh missing. Police, however, said the stolen ornaments and cash were worth about Rs 1 lakh.
