NEW DELHI: Introduced to encourage and support excellence in independent filmmaking by filmmakers in India, the Public Service Broadcasting Trust (PSBT) has invited proposals for up to 10 film fellowships.

According to a PSBT release, only one proposal per filmmaker will be considered. However, filmmakers may present budgets for either a 28 or 56-minute version or for both, indicating a preference.

The last date for submission is July 23.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to pitch their proposals directly to the PSBT trustees including filmmakers Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Shyam Benegal, Chief Executive Officer of Prasar Bharati B.S. Lalli among others.
