Train services to be affected

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The movement of trains will be affected for seven days from Thursday in view of the non-interlocked work in the Tirunavaya-Tirur and Tanur sections as part of doubling work in Shornur-Kozhikode railway section.

According to Southern Railway, the movement of trains will be affected in the Tirunavaya-Tirur and Tanur railway sections as hand signals will be used instead of automatic signals till July 20. The Railway has either fully regulated or partially cancelled some trains during the period to undertake non-interlocking work.

The 387/388 Coimbatore-Mangalore-Coimbatore Passenger trains will be partially cancelled between Shoranur and Kozhikode during the period. The 6867/6868 Mangalore-Tiruchirappalli-Mangalore-Tiruchirappalli Express trains will be partially cancelled between Palakkad and Kozhikode. The 610/611 Kannur-Coimbatore-Kannur Passenger trains will be partially cancelled between Kozhikode and Coimbatore. The 615 Thrissur-Kozhikode Passenger train will be partially cancelled between Shoranur and Kozhikode.
