The Kerala Vyapari Vyavasayi Ekopana Samiti has accused the government of trying to evacuate traders in the name of national highway widening without considering their rehabilitation demands.
A State committee meeting of the Samiti here on Thursday expressed protest over the ‘forceful attempts’ to displace traders and pave the way for the entry of multinational companies in the sector.
