Symposium on supramolecular topology

There is a great scope for interdisciplinary research on Supramolecular Topology and Photochemistry, said Shiki Yagai of the Institute of Global Prominent Research, Chiba University, Japan.

He was delivering the plenary lecture at the international symposium on Supramolecular and Photochemistry organised by the Postgraduate Department of Chemistry and Research Centre, SD College here on Saturday.

Edamana Prasad of Indian Institute of Technology- Madras, V.K. Praveen and Vijayakumar C. Nair of National Institute of Interdisciplinary Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, delivered invited lecturers.

Prasad V. Sarma of Postgraduate and Research Department of Physics, SD College, bagged the award for the best paper presentation. Mayuri P. V. of Department of Chemistry, St. Albert’s College, Ernakulam, won the cash prize for the best poster presentation.
