Storage falls in reservoirs



THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The water levels of major reservoirs of the State have come down. According to figures released by Central Water Commission for the week ending December 4, at Idukki the level decreased from 2385.68 ft to 2385.67 ft., at Kallada from 379.92 to 378.61 ft. and at Idamalayar from 552.59 ft. to 550.26 ft. But when compared with the water levels recorded during the same period last year, Kallada and Idamalayar reservoirs showed an increase of 4.99 ft. and 17.06 ft. respectively, and Idukki a decrease of 7.55 ft.
