A statement issued by the School of Industries Fisheries said that despite significant growth in the seafood business and the business contributing 1.4 per cent to the gross domestic product in India, there had not been much work being done in reducing losses arising from improper handling, transportation and processing. The last date for submission of abstracts of papers to be presented at the seminar is January 31 and the last date for submission of full paper is February 15. For more details contact A.
