Selected for Global Schools Program

Sanju Soman, a senior program officer at the Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment (ATREE), has been selected for the Global Schools Program, an initiative led by the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network —Youth Initiative (SDSN Youth) in support of UNESCO’s Global Action Program on Education for Sustainable Development (GAP-ESD). Global Schools Ambassadors coordinate local efforts to empower schools and teachers to educate children on the sustainable development goals and serve as official spokespersons for the Program.
