Protest against KSEB move

KOZHIKODE: The Muslim Youth League, youth wing of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), has said it will intensify its agitation against the decision of the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) to ask consumers to pay additional deposit for power supply.

The Youth League launched an agitation at Kottammel and burned a bill sent by the KSEB demanding excess deposit. Similar protest meetings were held across the district. Youth League State general secretary K.M. Shaji said the party would intensify its agitation if the KSEB failed to withdraw its decision.
