Protest against arrest of MCH doctor

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, FEB. 26. The Kerala Government Medical College Teachers' Association has expressed strong protest against the arrest of Dr. Raymond Morris, Professor, Neurosurgery, Medical College by the Vigilance squad.

The association alleged that the doctor had been falsely implicated in the Vigilance case while he was engaged in private practice at his own consultation room.

The association alleged that the patient, Joseph Antony, who had consulted the doctor, had been told that he required no surgery and had been advised to seek the advice of the ENT Department at the Medical College Hospital.

When such is the case, the claim that the doctor had asked money for conducting surgery, was malicious, KGMCTA claimed.
