Orders for regularising buildings issued

The government has issued orders for regularising buildings constructed in violation of the Kerala Municipal and Panchayat Building Rules up to July 31, 2017.

An official release said that building owners would have to submit applications with their respective local body within 90 days for regularising the violations by remitting a fine. Anomalies in floor area ratio, coverage, setback, parking, and access of commercial buildings could also be regularised. Details could be accessed from the Local Self-Government Department website.
