Omalloor Hindu meet from April 1

PATHANAMTHITTA, MARCH 11. The Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam general secretary, Vellappally Natesan, will inaugurate the three-day Hindu religious meeting at the famous Sree Raktakanta Swamy Temple premises at Omalloor, near here, on April 1.

The Kerala Viswkarma Sabha State general secretary, P.P. Krishnan, will preside over the inaugural meeting. The chief of the Sree Ramakrishna Ashram, Pala, Swami Swaprabhananda, will deliver the keynote address on the occasion.

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader, P.K. Ramachandran, the Sidhanar Service Society registrar, T.P. Raman, the Nair Service Society director board member, P.N. Narendranathan Nair, and the Yogakshema Sabha secretary, V.Harikumar Namboodiri, will also address the inaugural meeting.

Alexander Jacob, Inspector General of Police, will address the evening session.

The annual children's meet and women's meet will be held on April 2. M. Laksmikumari, chairperson and director of the Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallore, will inaugurate the women's meet at 2.30 p.m.

A bhajan by the Satya Sai Seva Samithi will be held later. K.R. Kannan will deliver the keynote address at the evening session.

The Balagokulam State president, C.N. Purushothaman, will inaugurate the Mathapatasala meet on April 3.

The Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) member, M.B. Sreekumar, will inaugurate the valedictory meeting later in the afternoon. Swami Sivaswaroopananda of the Sivagiri Madhom, Varkala, will deliver the keynote address and the meet will conclude with a Sarvaiswarya pooja, later.
