Nayanar to be shifted to AIIMS

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, APRIL 24. The former Chief Minister, E. K. Nayanar, who has been under treatment for anaemia at the Medical College Hospital here since last week, is being shifted to the All India Institute of Mediccal Sciences, New Delhi, on Sunday on the advice of doctors.

Though the haemoglobin level in his blood had shown improvement and diabetes had been brought under control, the unhealing ulcers on his feet were a cause for concern. Mr. Nayanar will undergo treatment at the diabetic foot ulcers speciality wing at the AIIMS, the Superintendent of MCH, N. Viswanathan, said.
