IT exhibition in Kochi

KOCHI: The Indian Computer Education Society (ICES) will hold an all-India information technology (IT) exhibition, called IT-2005, at the Ernakulam Town Hall from November 24 to 26.

Addressing a press conference here on Monday, ICES office-bearers said that international IT companies, such as IBM, Microsoft and Intel, and the Government agencies, such as the National Informatics Centre and the Kerala State IT Mission, will participate in the expo.

Stalls of IT firms from in and outside the State will be part of the exhibition. Demonstration of new products, a free service camp and a computer exchange mela will be held as part of the event. A two-day seminar, led by experts from the field of information technology, for students of science and IT will also be held during the exhibition. The final round of the State-level IT quiz for school students will also be held. ICES president D. Philip, general secretary A.D. Jayan and vice-president E.V. Bhaskara Panikker took part in the press conference.
