Groupism to stay: Murali

PALAKKAD, AUG. 14. The former KPCC president, K. Muraleedharan, has said that groupism will not end in the Congress till organisational polls are held.

Inaugurating a seminar on ``Problems of self-financing colleges'' organised by the Kerala Students Union (KSU) here today Mr. Muraleedharan said the main reason for the defeat of the UDF in the last Lok Sabha elections was the alienation of the youth and other sections of the people from the Congress.

It was a welcome change that the new KPCC leadership had taken steps to reorganise the mass organisations under it, he said.
