Good response to AI regular jumbo service

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM OCT. 31. Air India's (AI) regular weekly jumbo service to Gulf countries from the capital commenced tonight with the flight departing from the international airport here to Dubai at 7-55 p.m.

The national carrier's Boeing 747 200 aircraft, which can accommodate 34 passengers in the Executive Class and 376 in the Economy Class, arrived from Mumbai at 6-40 p.m. with 96 passengers. As many as 331 passengers boarded the aircraft from here and it left for Mumbai at 7-55 p.m. with 427 passengers.
